Meet The Founder

John Sedej founded New Financial Path after years of building businesses, leading teams, and learning how to overcome many obstacles companies face when trying to grow, turn-around, or streamline their business.  A well-known “efficiency junkie”, John is passionate about finding the most cost and time effective solution that produces growth, without sacrificing company culture, customer service, value, or long term sustainability.  Having worked in Fortune 100, growth stage, and start ups companies, and achieving award winning success for his sales, marketing, financial, and operational strategies, John has a depth of experience few advisors can offer. 

John is a sought after speaker and author that is asked to share his success strategies with companies of all sizes. His primary focus and passion however, is helping small to medium businesses.  He feels they are the lifeblood of our economy, typically don’t have the resources or sales and marketing budgets that larger companies have, and in turn, have to be very innovative and efficient with their time, money and talents.  This is where the team of New Financial Path jumps in and shones.  We help maximize results with some of their “No and Low Cost” sales and marketing strategies.   

A firm believer that when a leader gets better, the whole team is lifted up, John has guided many leaders through the sometimes stormy sea of business and organizational development.  He has had multiple successful businesses, served as a corporate executive for a large Fortune 500 company, worked with hundreds of C-level and Senior Leaders, serves as an advisor to various non-profits, is a leader in his church, and husband to his beautiful wife Susan.

Years ago, John read a book called “Compassionate Capitalism”. That book challenged his viewpoint as a leader and business owner.  He started viewing a successful business not only as a means of making a living, but as a vehicle to educate, empower, and equip people, their families, and their local communities. He tries to help his clients embrace this same “servant leader” philosophy. New Financial Path affords him this opportunity every day.
